‘Killer Spider’ to screen at Osaka Asian Film Festival

Iranian movie ‘Killer Spider’ is slated to vie at the Osaka Asian Film Festival in Japan.

The film directed by Ebrahim Irajzad, will be among the 14 films screening at the main competition section of the 2021 edition of the event.

The flick will compete with films from South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Turkey, Japan, Canada and China.

The social crime flick narrates the story of a man who wants to eradicate corruption from the face of the world.

Mohsen Tanabandeh, Sareh Bayat, Shirin Yazdanbakhsh, Mahour Alvand and Javad Yahyavi are among the cast members of the flick.

‘Killer Spider’ gained its national premiere at the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

Launched in 2005, the Osaka Asian Film Festival aims to introduce Asian films to the world.

The 16th edition of the event is scheduled for March 5-14, 2021 in Okasa City in Japan.
